Speed, Agility, Explosive Power SAEP II
7th - 8th Grade Boys & Girls

This class focuses on developing functional strength through multiple planes of motion. The emphasis here is to transition from body weight strength movements into resistance training. The skills developed in this class will help support and aid in the prevention of injuries or lessen their severity. Teaching proper running mechanics, athlete will be able to move more efficiently as they run down the court and/or change directions. With the addition of resistance training athletes will start to see greater increases in their speed and strength that will elevate their skills on the court. Athletes will also focus on explosive training which will help increase their vertical.

8 Sessions - $200

Fall S.A.E.P. III is a 12 week class.

Your player DOES NOT have to be in the M14 Basketball Academy in order to participate in M14 Strength Programs.

Players CANNOT attend group classes unless they have been evaluated first.

How It Works

First, your player will need to be evaluated. No player can reserve a spot in a class until this has happened. After the evaluation, you will receive a link to sign up.

Fall Structure

Training sessions are sold in 8-session packages and with the expectation of seeing athletes twice a week.  Though we offer the class multiple times a day/week; players are to select two days and times that work for them between the Mon-Thr times.  The expectation is those are the same two days you will use for the 12 week class. Friday and Sunday are make up session in case a player misses their normal class.  We only allow 10 players at a time slot so spots are limited. All classes are 60 minutes.



Improvements will need to be assessed individually within the group so our staff can help each player break through their athletic plateau.  What does this mean? It means that puberty has started which has increased body mass and our staff will need to adjust programming so athletes can continue to see gains.  What worked in middle school to get faster won’t work in high school. At the end of this class athletes will be able quicker, stronger and faster because more advanced techniques and concepts will be used.  All movements will help injury prevention and increase production on the court by using science and researched facts.


Winter S.A.E.P. 2 is all about maintaining current physical levels.  This class will meet 10 times in part 1 between Nov-Dec and 10 times in Part 2 between Jan-Feb on Sunday’s at 6p-7pm. Registration is done by contacting Coach Jake at jwosick@m14hoops.com.  The fee per 'part' is $250.
